PGA Super 60’s

Wollaton Park Golf Club is proud to announce that it will be hosting the PGA Super 60s golf tournament on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th July 2017.

This is the most prestigious golf tournament in the City of Nottingham since the PGA Seniors Championship in June 1991. The golf course is set in the beautiful Wollaton Park which is a great  asset to the City.

The club’s own professional John Lower, with his amateur partner Stuart Belcher, won this tournament in 2008. They will be playing again this year and hoping to win again at their home course.

The tournament will have 74 teams of one professional partnered by one amateur, both over the age of 60, and played over two rounds. It attracts some of the top professionals of this age group in the country and from overseas. This tournament has been held at many distinguished golf clubs and in 2016 was held at Gleneagles who hosted the 2014 Ryder Cup.

The golf club is providing information locally to inform local residents of this event. Admission and parking for spectators is free.
