Conditions proved challenging in the medal on Saturday 28th April, with only 4 of the 171 players scoring below nett 70. Easily the best round of the day was by Andrew Clark, who shot a nett 64 (gross 70), and achieved the remarkable feat of finishing with 4 straight birdies. He won the Scratch prize and also the 1st Division by 3 strokes from James McLocklin. In the 2nd division, Spencer Hubbard’s 70 was enough for victory. Mark Lievesley was the winner in Division 3, also with a 70.
