Wollaton Park Golf Club is one of the best courses in the County, and is a very friendly and welcoming Club.  Conveniently situated just off the A 52, minutes from the Nottingham City Centre.

Management and ground staff strive to ensure that the course is maintained to a high standard so Members of all abilities can enjoy their golf.  When Opens and County Competitions are played then the course is a showcase for us.  Wollaton Park is also popular with visiting groups and societies.

The Clubhouse is well served with locker rooms, changing /shower areas, dining room, bar, lounge and meeting areas, plus an attractive patio and large car-park. Our Steward, John Riley and his wife Sue, the caterer, and their excellent staff, do a first class job with the bar and our catering needs.

We have excellent Office Staff, headed by Club Secretary/Manager, Avril Jamieson, who oversee the day to day running and management functions of a busy Golf Club.

Our Professional, John Lower, and his PGA Assistants, Alasdair and Adam, are well respected by the membership and in the wider Golf community. They provide equipment needs, tuition and advice to members, and are the welcoming face of our Club to all our visitors and guests.

We currently have vacancies for 7 day and 6 day playing members (6 day membership precludes Saturday play), gents and ladies, as well as a limited number of junior vacancies (under 18 years of age).

At our last A.G.M. we voted to extend our Country Membership category, so that anyone living over 50 miles from W.P.G.C. and who is already a member of a Golf Club may apply.

A new Social membership category has been introduced. A Wife, Husband or Partner of an existing Golfing member can now become a Social member in their own right. This membership is free of charge; we do however require an initiial £5 admin fee and that their membership card is loaded each year with £30 to purchase food and drink in the Clubhouse. PRELIMINARY APPLICATION FORM FOR JUNIOR & CADET MEMBERS 

Applicants should complete the Preliminary Application for Membership Form and return it to the Club Secretary/Manager, together with a passport sized photograph (photo not required for Juniors).

Ideally, applicants should be proposed and seconded by two WPGC members of at least three years standing, who have known the applicant for at least two years. The applicant should arrange for the proposer and seconder to submit letters of support to the Club Secretary/Manager.  Applicants who are unable to provide such playing members as proposer and seconder should submit at least two personal / business / golf club references.

When the letters of support have been received, the applicant will be placed on the waiting list, awaiting interview by the Membership Committee.

Applicants shall be elected to membership following a satisfactory interview with members of the Committee and following a probationary period of 21 days during which his / her application shall be posted in the Clubhouse.

If the required membership category is full, then applicants will be entered onto the waiting list for membership, until a vacancy is available.
